As many of you already know, every year on 27 January all the world commemorates the victims of the Holocaust. This day is called the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. More or less 7 million people died, victims of the Nazi regime in Germany during WW2.
On 27 January 1945, Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi death camp, was liberated by Soviet troops.
Personally, I believe that every day we should commemorate this day and be aware of what happened so many years ago (and maybe not so many) and what it is still happening all around the world. People are still dying and losing their lives to escape from terrible political and social situations.
Dear students, I really hope you will enjoy watching this inspiring and astonishing (at least for me) film.
